Cracked Black Pepper Bacon

Notes

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Time: 15–20 minutes
Total Time: 20–25 minutes
Yield: 12–16 slices
Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients:

  • 12–16 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional – light brush only)
  • 1–2 tbsp coarse cracked black pepper
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F
  2. Lay bacon on rack over sheet pan
  3. Lightly brush with maple (optional)
  4. Season generously with black pepper + spices
  5. Bake 15–20 minutes until crispy
  6. Rest 2–3 minutes before plating
